Since Fall 2022, I have been collecting student data to determine the impact my tutoring has had on students’ improvement. Tutoring is a significant investment, both in terms of time and money, and I wanted to make sure that I was providing the best possible outcomes for students.
Below is a summary of my results as of April 2025:
Across all students who tutored with Empowered Minds:
- Average score increase of 4.647 points per person
- Pre-Tutoring scores ranged from 17-32
- Final scores ranged from 21-35
- Average Final Score: 27.935
For students who took a minimum of 2 Official ACT Tests after completing Empowered Minds’ ACT curriculum:
- Average score increase of 5.857 points per person
- 78.6% of students increased their scores by 5+ points
- 100% of students increased their scores by 3+ points
- Pre-Tutoring scores ranged from 19-32
- Final Scores ranged from 24-35
- Average Final Score: 30.071
